Principal's Message

Hello Carson Coyotes,

It is a great honor to serve this wonderful community. Carson staff are committed to building positive relationships with each of our students and their families.  We are invested in serving the social, emotional, and academic needs of our students. 

Our School Mission: “In partnership with families and community, Carson Elementary challenges its students to achieve their full potential to be productive citizens.” We foster a college and career ready culture that emphasizes collaboration and organization.  Our teachers work to create classrooms designed for collaborative learning in order to teach our students how to effectively communicate, cooperate, and compromise with each other. Our Second Step curriculum provides lessons that model for students how to have empathy and regulate their behavior so that they can learn successfully and help others around them do the same. Our diversity is our greatest strength and we strive to celebrate that each day.  

To accomplish our mission, and strengthen our school community, we need you!  We strongly encourage families to partner alongside us and be a member of our Carson Team. We know participation can look very different depending on the needs of your family, so we welcome you to engage in a way that suits your family including PTA, Watch Dogs, morning greeters, recess and/or classroom support.  This will allow you the opportunity to help shape our school’s climate and culture.  Together, we can make sure that each child has what they need to be successful at Carson.
